1. Acceptance of Terms​

By adding DeviantCord bot to your Discord server or using any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (AGPLv3). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our bot.

DeviantCord bot is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU Affero General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.

This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the GNU Affero General Public License for more details.

3. Source Code Availability​

In accordance with the AGPL, the source code for DeviantCord bot is publicly available. You can find the source code here.

4. Modifications and Distribution​

You are free to modify and distribute DeviantCord bot, provided that you comply with the terms of the AGPLv3. This includes:

  • Clearly stating that you modified the software and when you did so.
  • Offering the source code of your modified version to all users interacting with it.
  • Preserving all copyright notices and license information.

5. Network Use​

If you modify DeviantCord bot and run it to interact with users over a network, you must provide a way for users to receive the source code of your version.

6. Description of Service​

DeviantCord is a Discord bot designed to interact with and display content from DeviantArt within Discord servers. The bot's functionality is provided "as is" and may be subject to changes, interruptions, or discontinuation at any time.

7. User Responsibilities​

You agree to use DeviantCord bot in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service, DeviantArt's Terms of Service, and these terms. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your Discord account in relation to DeviantCord bot.

8. Content Guidelines​

DeviantCord bot interacts with public content from DeviantArt. Users must comply with DeviantArt's Terms of Service and Content Policy. The following guidelines apply to all content shared or accessed through DeviantCord:

8.1 Allowed Content (with Mature Tag)​

  • Nude illustrations or photos, non-sexual in presentation
  • Erotic content: Sensual or sexualized content that is non-pornographic
  • Erotic anthro content: Sensual or sexualized, but non-pornographic, content depicting anthro characters, furries, or animals with human characteristics
  • Soft vore content: Depictions of characters being swallowed, without harm, bloodshed, or injury

8.2 Prohibited Content​

The following content is strictly forbidden:

  • Pornography: Explicit sexual content involving real people or likenesses of real people
  • Anthro pornography: Explicit sexual content involving people dressed as anthro characters, furries, or animals with human characteristics
  • Hard vore content: Depictions of characters being eaten alive, flesh tearing, chewing, digestion, or cannibalism
  • Explicit illustrated content
  • Mature or explicit content in avatars, cover images, or preview images
  • Sexual or erotic depictions of celebrities or public figures
  • Child exploitation content (see Zero-Tolerance Policy)

8.3 Special Considerations​

  • AI-Generated Depictions of Real People: When using AI to create content that depicts real people in any context (including non-sexual content), you must have the express knowledge and written consent of the individuals being depicted. These individuals must be at least 18 years old. This applies to AI-generated images, videos, or any other media that uses a real person's likeness.

8.4 Zero-Tolerance Policy​

DeviantCord enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding:

  • Child exploitation content
  • Sexual violence or glorification of non-consensual acts
  • Graphic violence presented as sexually stimulating
  • Fringe sexual fetishes (e.g., incest, necrophilia, amputation)

Users are responsible for ensuring all content they interact with or share through DeviantCord bot complies with these guidelines. Violation may result in immediate termination of access to the bot and potential reporting to Discord and/or DeviantArt.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty​

THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE PROGRAM "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

10. Limitation of Liability​

IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING WILL ANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MODIFIES AND/OR CONVEYS THE PROGRAM AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS), EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms​

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the bot or any features within it without notice. We also reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Continued use of DeviantCord bot after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
